The acclaimed Mayfair Mediterranean restaurant, Jeru, owned by noted Chef Roy Ner, has just launched its latest exciting venture.
The Fish Market is an impressive seafood and crudo display designed by Chef Ner to showcase and house the very best daily selection of sustainably caught fish and seafood.
This is not the first bespoke display at Jeru, with a full suite of similar bespoke presentations, sitting by the dry ageing meat and vegetable cabinets, already in place.
The display offers diners the opportunity to select fish from the counter and watch it being prepared and cooked to order. All in all a wonderful and delicious experience when we tried it for ourselves.

The selection of fish and seafood is made by Chef Ner from some of the UK’s finest fish suppliers, including Brixham, Peterhead and Fraserburgh, and changes according to the best catches of the day.
Chef Ner said: “The Fish Market has been specifically designed to showcase the variety and timeless flavours of the sea, ethically caught and sustainably sourced with the day boat method of fishing.
“Delivered to our restaurant within a day of being caught, the menu presents a selection of ethically line caught fish and seafood alongside the highest quality crudo. We are proud that we can offer our customers a beautifully curated selection of seafood and cook it to their personal choice – cured, charcoal grilled, steamed or baked.”
Jeru is a three-floor dining destination discreetly fronted by a bakery located on Mayfair’s Berkeley Street.
Downstairs, Layla at Jeru offers refreshing cocktails, light bites and sharing platters in a vibrant bar and lounge environment accompanied by a live DJ from Thursday to Saturday. The ground floor bakery serves freshly baked bread and pastries during the day and morphs into a wine bar at night.
