Favourite neighbourhood:
Stoke Newington where I live. I love the feeling of living in a small village nuzzled into busy London. It’s also super close to all my friends which live which is nice. Close second place would have to be Clerkenwell, where we have our office and I truly enjoy all the cozy pubs, great restaurants and the buzz of the community during the week.
Favourite place for brunch:
Granger & Co. and Lantana Shoreditch for breakfast and brunch (apparently I have a thing for Aussie breakfasts!) Oh and Esters in Stoke Newington is a must visit!
Best coffee in London:
I’m probably the only Swede who doesn’t drink coffee! That said, I do like Ozone and Jolene for the atmosphere.
Favourite gallery or museum:
Tate Modern without fail! I love the impact it has as it soon as you walk into the Turbine Hall and how it hosts so many activities and events throughout the year.
Tell us a secret:
I spend WAY too much time on eBay and Vestiaire, most of my great designer items are from either of those platforms.
Favourite place to shop:
Liberty! And charity shops, me and one of my friends sometimes decide an area within London and go on a charity shop crawl and end it with a beer at a local pub! Highgate has some good charity shops and pubs!
Favourite place to find inspiration:
Travelling. Short distance or long, I always feel inspired and filled with life when I arrive back home in London after a trip.
Best London destination for a date:
The Southbank at sunset as it has everything you need for a great date! Personally I’d enjoy going to an art gallery followed by drink and movie at BFI! I love the the whole area, I still get that “wow I live in London feeling” whenever I’m down there looking over the city.
Favourite park:
Clissold Park as it is my closest one to where I live, but I also really love Hampstead Heath.
Favourite food market:
Borough Market is a winner every time. But there is also a great week day food market on Leather Lane in Farringdon… and of course there’s Broadway Market on weekends.
Your sanctuary in the city:
My reformer Pilates classes – where I can clear my head and escape all everyday stresses.
What inspires you?
Music! I always feel high on life, and inspired after a going to a live gig or listening to a record.
This season I’m loving…
My new Christopher Esber dress… which according to my friends is far too dressy for the pub, oh well!
