East London menswear brand Percival has made a name for itself by subverting the classics, sartorially speaking, but it turns out that flair applies to short film making too.
To celebrate the launch of the brand’s AW21 collection, Percival has created a hilariously tongue-in-cheek homage to iconic ‘90s docuseries ‘999’ – but this time the ‘real-life’ disasters are all fashion-related.
You’ll spot a few familiar faces in the short film – including comedians Phil Wang and Dane Baptiste – as well as some great clobber (naturally).
Highlights from the new AW21 collection include the bestselling Sherlock jacket in an Italian wool-blend check fabric that’s bonded for extra warmth, and the re-launched Blanket overshirt in bright-orange Cassentino fabric, produced locally in London. The Percival workshirt is also well worth a mention, available this season in an Italian ‘mini hound’ wool-blend fabric with horn buttons.
